HSLC Swimming Pools Programme page

The pool programme (below) is our typical opening times and events but will be subject to minor changes

Our 3 heated pools will be open from Easter until the beginning of September (this may be extended depending upon demand, weather & staffing).

Our main pool is 25m (long) by 10m (wide) and gently slopes from a depth of 0.9m (3ft) to 2m (6ft). It is maintained at a temperature of 82ºF

Our learner pool is 10m (long) by 8m and is 0.8m deep. It is kept at a temp of 84ºF.

Our paddling pool is 3m square and is 0.5m deep. It is kept at a temp of 85ºF.

CHILDRENS PARTIES
Why not hire our pool, with or without inflatable or our new Jet Scooters. Have a barbeque, bring your own food or let our cafe provide the food for you.
An excellent venue for your childs party with qualified lifegaurd supervision. Ask at reception for details of our "Party Packages"

GIANT INFLATABLE FUN SESSIONS
Can you manage to get across the 'Pirate Run' inflatable? For ages 8 to Adult, who can swim 50m. Younger children up to 8, who are unable to swim 50m, can have their own challenge on our "Viking Ship" Learner Pool inflatable.

WATER FLUME
Slide down our new, exiting 5.5 metre high, 45 metre long water slide - 15 min sessions every hour on the hour except for inflatable times

SWIM CLUB
Any age welcome, just come along and get timed to find out which squad you qualify for.

JUNIOR & ADULT LESSONS
Courses will run throughout the swimming season. Reserve your place. Book Now

ADVENTURE PLAY/PICNIC AREA
Have a wild time on our outdoor adventure play park. Climb the climbing frame, ride along the Tarzan Swing or simply sit & relax in the picnic area. Great fun for all the family.

ADULT ONLY & LANE SWIM
Two lanes will be provided for keen swimmers, whilst the rest of the pool will still be available for fun and more relaxed adult swimming.

JET SCOOTERS
Be propelled through the pool by our brand new Jet Scooters - for 8 years and over who can swim 50m - charges may apply

EARLY BIRDS
A perfect way to start the day for those wanting to swim lengths.

AQUABABES
for ages 18months to 4 years - to build up water confidence - must be prior booked at reception

Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied and constantly supervised by a responsible person over 16 years of age. Discount rates Early Birds & Lane Swim. Programme changes may be made in certain circumstances & at management discretion. Minor alterations may be applied during public or lane swim sessions to allow swimming lessons to occur. We close 5pm on Bank Holidays.
